Fall Conferences
TennMUN
WiscoMUN is excited to announce its introduction to the Southern Model United Nations Circuit via TennMUN, hosted by the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, in Knoxville, Tennessee. TennMUN II will be WiscoMUN’s first time attending, which will be an exciting introduction as to what the South has to offer when it comes to Model United Nations.
WiscoMUN will be competing at TennMUN II, taking place September 25th - 28th, 2025.
CIAC
WiscoMUN will, once again, be attending CIAC (Cornell International Affairs Conference), hosted by Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. CIAC is a small, crisis-heavy conference recommended for delegates of all skill levels, whether they be growing in their MUN journey or experienced competitors. Additionally, WiscoMUN was honored to receive the Best Small Delegation Award at CIAC XV, a first in WiscoMUN history!
WiscoMUN will be competing at CIAC XVI, taking place October 16th - 19th, 2025.
AMUN
One of the largest collegiate Model UN Conferences, and held nearby in Chicago, American Model United Nations is a great opportunity for both new and experienced delegates, with a focus on GA-Style Committees. This is a great opportunity for new members to explore MUN in a formal setting and practice diplomacy in a forum larger than traditional meetings.
WiscoMUN will be competing at AMUN XXXVI, taking place November 22nd - 25th, 2025.
Spring Conferences
McMUN
Hosted by McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, McMUN is an excellent conference that WiscoMUN cannot help but keep coming back to. Ranked the second-best conference in North America, this is a great opportunity to learn what MUN is like outside the United States and to explore the beautiful city of Montreal. McMUN truly offers a unique experience when it comes to the North American circuit, offering delegates to interact with schools outside of the American circuit!
WiscoMUN will be competing at McMUN XXXVII, taking place in Spring 2026, with a date to be determined.
HNMUN
Hosted by Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts, HNMUN is an excellent conference widely regarded as the most competitive and prestigious on the North American circuit. There is a wide range of committees available at HNMUN, ranging from large GAs to small crisis committees. This is a great opportunity for new and veteran members alike, and a favorite conference of WiscoMUN delegates across the years.
WiscoMUN will be competing at HNMUN LXXII, taking place February 12th - 15th, 2026.
HoosierMUN
In Spring 2025, WiscoMUN was lucky enough to attend HoosierMUN’s inaugural year, hosted by Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. WiscoMUN is thrilled to see the birth of more Midwestern Model United Nations conferences, and could not help but come back to Madison singing praises for this incredible conference. Additionally, WiscoMUN was honored to receive the Outstanding Delegation Award at HoosierMUN I.
WiscoMUN will be competing at HoosierMUN II, taking place in Spring 2026, with a date to be determined.
ChoMUN
Hosted by the University of Chicago, ChoMUN is a unique Conference in that it is entirely composed of Crisis Committees. It is a fantastic experience for those delegates preferring smaller and engaging committees and is known for its well-fleshed-out background guides, which WiscoMUN delegates always enjoy. It is highly recommended that all delegates apply and attend at least once.
